Power up!

Power lines have been connected, but meter not installed. The power supplier sent me an email almost two weeks ago, saying the meter would be installed within 10 working days. Only 4 days ago I got a follow up email saying they were waiting on confirmation from their contractor as to a definitive date. How disappointing and it was expected to. This power provider is very unreliable.

Looks like the place got a bit of a clean also. Floors, walls, windows, mirrors, sinks etc. It's almost sparkling new.

More plants/trees and pavers

Over the weekend we saw humid weather on Friday afternoon and Saturday. The rain was holding off, even though it was forecast for both Friday and Saturday, it would have been good because the plants were becoming droopy. I had to duck off to Bunnings to buy a hose to water the plants. Then the much needed heavy rain on came on Sunday. Which affected the landscaping work on Monday. The landscaper installed pavers, finished the gravel path, planted a few trees, and prepared the ground for turf that is due to arrive tomorrow. 4 Days Paint to front of wall Stair/handrail polish final coats?? Landscaping done

Today the ground was wet, but the landscapers got the job done before lunch time. I also noticed the house had a big tidy up and looks nice and shiny. The countdown is on, and the handover inspection has been booked. 3 Days Paint to front of wall Stair/handrail polish final coats??
