Well, they were back there for yet another day of rock breaking labour. It now looks flat and smooth. For some reason it, doesn't look like what we pictured. We picked up that the wall that they were going to build is a lot higher that we originally though. Made a complaint, and they will be back to fix the levels. See my son in one of the pictures, he is 7 is roughly 1.2metres tall. None of the walls are supposed to be more than 1metre tall. Not only does this make it more expensive, but engagement of engineers is required to properly design a retaining wall.
It looks the builder is pushing for this build to be finished by Christmas. Even the painters were here on a Saturday. Good on you boys. The stairs were also stained. The fascade finally has some colour, once the walls have been painted it will look a lot better. We found out that internally, these jobs have been completed. Robes/shelves fixed to correct design (with double rails). Linen cupboards and wardrobes have sliding doors (one in master should have mirrors) Shower screen are installed, and mirrors in washrooms except two because there are defects in the mirror. Oven is correctly fitted.
