Day 3 of Excavation

Well, they were back there for yet another day of rock breaking labour. It now looks flat and smooth. For some reason it, doesn't look like what we pictured. We picked up that the wall that they were going to build is a lot higher that we originally though. Made a complaint, and they will be back to fix the levels. See my son in one of the pictures, he is 7 is roughly 1.2metres tall. None of the walls are supposed to be more than 1metre tall. Not only does this make it more expensive, but engagement of engineers is required to properly design a retaining wall.

More plants/trees and pavers

Over the weekend we saw humid weather on Friday afternoon and Saturday. The rain was holding off, even though it was forecast for both Friday and Saturday, it would have been good because the plants were becoming droopy. I had to duck off to Bunnings to buy a hose to water the plants. Then the much needed heavy rain on came on Sunday. Which affected the landscaping work on Monday. Landscaping done

Today the ground was wet, but the landscapers got the job done before lunch time. I also noticed the house had a big tidy up and looks nice and shiny. The countdown is on, and the handover inspection has been booked. 3 Days Paint to front of wall Stair/handrail polish final coats??
