With all the action in the last few days, today we received a delivery today, first bit of colour to the house

Good to see the frame continuing after a slow end to the week.

Today roof trusses on the garage and the outdoor area got installed. I'd say they need crane assistance with the main larger sections. Not even sure how OH&S is even allowing them up there without safety harnesses or even barriers at those heights. It's Thursday and the second storey frame went up. I see the roof trusses which should be started on Friday.

Today floor battens were installed. Although it's hard to see any progress at least the lower floor now is getting a ceiling. Also arrived is the second storey frames.

It's Monday, it seems the carpenters are keen to get the house up. It seems the lower floor is pretty much up. The materials for the top floor and battens have turned up. Must be tomorrows job.

It appears the part of the frame structure arrived over the weekend. We went to inspect the slab, it turns out the carpenters have marked out the floor for where the frame goes.

I guess it'd be a few days to allow for the slab to cure before the next stage.

Today early morning called for pouring the slab, finally. What that means is that now the builder will bill us for the next progress payment. The time since the last payment which was the deposit was almost 6 months ago.

Today concrete mesh is laid ready for pouring the slab.
